It bothers me that someone like her is so popular among young kids and her influence is toxic. Of course Tana isn't the only one but I feel like I focus a lot on her because I feel like she is a prime example of what not to do. Most importantly her actions would be affecting her fans anymore and there would be a lot more realistic body positivity. I personally feel like if she cared about her body and didn't always drink, do drugs, and eat garbage she would have to facetune herself. Sadly because she gets called out so often that she encourages her fans that is normal and to just embrace facetune "because it's so normal and everyone does it" is what her fans say when she gets called out for it. of course she wants to be like every other Instagram girl and have a tiny waist and big hips and a big butt and that's just not her body. She wears things that don't flatter her figure and they are too tight around her waist giving her muffin top. Of course I don't think Tana is overweight, the clothes that she decides to wear just doesn't look good on her body. You can see from the side though that is very tight and it's pushing her back fat up. In the video she seems very stiff and it's clearly an undercut waist trainer or corset because it doesn't go over her boob area. Tana here is wearing a corset or waist trainer, I believe she's never worn any of those in her life but to keep that appearance from a recent highly embarrassing call out for her facetuning and later deleting of photo, I feel like this is her come up to hide the fact that she edits. But you can't edit your real life and she's just a prime example of it not going well in my opinion. Tana Mongeau has been known to be the facetune queen of Instagram and I'm sure a lot of other people also hold that title. YouTube and TikTok are littered with Facetune tutorials. It has scored powerful endorsements from celebrities and influencers including Khloe Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen, James Charles, Busy Philipps, Tana Mongeau and others. This isn't the typical post be aware of that, but this is unfortunately something actually sad. Today, Facetune is so widely used that it has become a stand-in word for edit, much like Photoshop.
